On the last Wednesday of every month, Electric House is closed.
The idea behind ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ is to allow each team member to do something – anything – to support their wellbeing.
We want to normalise conversations about mental health, both in the workplace and beyond, and to acknowledge the hard work of the Electric House team throughout the global pandemic.
And it’s been working! We have seen conversations about mental health begin to circulate on social media; currently, over 36 Electric House team members have posted to their socials about Wellbeing Wednesday- and counting!
In celebration of our 4th Wellbeing Wednesday, we found out what the Electric House team had been posting about Wellbeing Wednesday on their socials…
…for all, and I’m just so fortunate to not only be employed but actually work for a company who genuinely cares about their staff. ❤️
Wellbeing Wednesdays will give us chance to recharge our batteries, chill out, or in my case, get wrecked in the garden. 🍺

thanks to the pandemic, a very sad fact we’ve all had to face. The last 12 months have been a struggle for all of us, emotionally, mentally and physically. I know everyone is longing for the day restrictions have totally gone.
Wellbeing Wednesdays is a really touching, and motivating gesture from our founders, thank you from myself and all of us. I hope more companies do the same, placing mental health as a priority, as it should be, always.

… I have had enough jobs to know that working for a team that cares so much is absolute gold dust and a privilege, to say the least.
Today for the third of our company-wide Wellbeing Wednesdays, I am finally spending some time with the awesome finance team that has made me feel so very welcome, even though we haven’t really met in person.
